About Us
Our Mission At Roberta’s Place, our mission is to provide safety, healing, and hope to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault — and to help them rebuild their lives free from fear and harm.We believe that every person deserves to live in peace and dignity. Our team stands beside survivors, offering compassion, advocacy, and the resources they need to move forward and thrive.
Who We Are
Founded on compassion and community, Roberta’s Place is an emergency shelter serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, along with their children, throughout Cibola County and surrounding rural areas of New Mexico.
Our shelter feels like home — a warm, family-style environment with shared living spaces, supportive staff, and a focus on healing. We know that safety is the first step toward recovery, and we provide a safe, confidential place where survivors can rest and rebuild with dignity.
Each survivor’s story is unique.
Our staff meet people where they are, offering understanding, respect, and individualized care.
